Have you ever stopped and realized just how much of your life has
been shaped by who you thought you were supposed to be?
Be polite. Be nice. Be quiet.
Be the strong one. Be thankful.
Be the mom who does it all.
Be the woman who never complains.
It can be exhausting, right?
Somewhere along the way, we started carrying versions of ourselves that weren’t even ours. We picked up roles, beliefs, and expectations because that’s what the world handed us.
But what if the most powerful thing you could do… is unbecome all of that?
Unbecome who the world told you to be—so you can finally come back home to who
God created you to be.
You Might Be Carrying More Than You Realize:
Feeling like you can’t trust your own voice
Always wondering if you’re doing enough (or too much)
Saying yes when your spirit’s yelling no
Playing small to keep the peace
Chasing achievement but still feeling disconnected
If you’ve felt that—yeah, me too. But we don’t have to stay in that cycle. We get to break it.
4. Protect Your Peace
Saying no isn’t mean. It’s sacred. You’re allowed to create space for your healing, your joy, your clarity. Boundaries aren’t walls—they’re invitations to come closer on your terms.
5. Let Yourself Be Seen
The real you is safe. Even if she’s messy or unsure or still figuring it out. You weren’t made to blend in—you were made to be seen, to shine, to live in truth. That starts with showing up, even when your voice shakes.
1. Start Asking Real Questions
Where did that belief come from? Who told you rest was lazy? Who said you needed to be more or less of anything? Start noticing those internal scripts—and give yourself permission to rewrite them.
2. Reconnect with Your Spirit
You’re not just a title or a task list. You are a whole soul. And the real you—the one God created—is still in there. You find her again when you slow down. Journal. Pray. Breathe. Let God remind you of what’s always been true.
3. Drop the Labels
You don’t have to live up to every role all the time. You can be a mama and still have needs. You can be strong and still need rest. You can be loving and still say no. You're not here to perform. You're here to be real.
The Real Becoming Starts with the Undoing
You don’t have to prove anything to be worthy.
You don’t have to hustle for your value.
You are already enough.
The world taught you to bend, to hide,
to hold back. But your spirit?
She’s calling you to stand tall.
So maybe this is your permission slip:
To pause. To exhale. To unbecome.
Because the real you—the radiant, whole, powerful you—isn’t lost. She’s just waiting for you to lay down what was never yours to carry.
You’re not too much.
You’re not behind. You’re not broken.
You are becoming by unbecoming. And sis, that? That’s the most beautiful, thing of all.
